We install Digital Employees
and teach teams
how to use AI at work.
Standin is built for established businesses that know AI matters but do not want another dashboard, another vague consultant, or another tool nobody uses. We offer two clear services: managed AI Digital Employees and Live AI Workshops.
Most growing businesses leak time in the same places. Follow-ups get missed. Notes sit in meeting transcripts. Calendar details live in someone's head. Customers wait on answers because the right person is buried in email.
Standin fixes that kind of problem with a managed AI Digital Employee. The first job is not to replace your team. The first job is to give your team a reliable operator for the repeatable work that keeps slipping.
Some companies are not ready for a Digital Employee yet. They need their employees trained first. That is what the Live AI Workshop is for: practical AI training for the actual work people do inside the company.
AI should either do useful work or help your people do better work.
If it does neither, it is probably a demo. Standin is focused on practical AI adoption, not theater.
What we sell
right now.
AI Digital Employee
A managed Digital Employee installed into the business. The Executive Skill Pack gets the first workflows running, then capabilities expand into approved sales, operations, reporting, research, support, and cross-system work.
Virtual Live AI Workshop
A 4-hour workshop that teaches employees how to use AI in the company with practical examples, policy guidance, and hands-on exercises.
In-Person Live AI Workshop
A 6-hour on-site workshop for teams that want deeper training, role-specific practice, and leadership alignment around AI use.
The fit is about the bottleneck,
not the industry.
Standin is a good fit for businesses with real operations, recurring follow-up, and employees who could use AI every week if someone gave them a practical way to do it.
- Established owner-led businessesThe best fit is usually a business with real volume, a small leadership team, and too many loose ends living in inboxes, texts, calendars, and meetings.
- Teams with follow-up painReal estate teams, local service companies, professional services firms, insurance agencies, and similar businesses tend to feel this fast. The industry matters less than the bottleneck.
- Companies ready to train employeesThe Live AI Workshop is for teams that want staff to use AI at work without guessing, pasting sensitive data into random tools, or turning every prompt into a science project.
- Leaders who want clear ownershipSomeone inside the company needs to own the business outcome. Standin owns the AI work, but the client still decides what matters and what needs approval.
Clear guardrails.
Plain ownership.
- 01
Useful before fancy
We start with the work that already slows the business down: inbox triage, follow-up, calendar coordination, meeting prep, reporting, and open-loop tracking. If a workflow does not save time or reduce dropped balls, it does not go first.
- 02
Managed, not self-serve
Clients are not buying another tool to manage. Standin installs the Digital Employee, connects the approved systems, monitors the work, and improves the workflows over time.
- 03
Approval-first by default
A Digital Employee can draft, summarize, organize, and prepare. Sensitive actions stay behind approval until the client is ready to expand the guardrails.
- 04
No password sharing
Access is handled through secure OAuth links whenever possible. Clients authorize the connection directly. Standin does not need passwords to do the work.
Standin uses Digital Employees
inside its own business.
Standin is transparent about how it works. We use Digital Employees internally for onboarding, follow-up, request tracking, research, drafting, and operational admin. Clients should expect that. It is part of how we keep the service focused and the price sustainable.
A human operator still owns the relationship, the decisions, and the quality bar. Digital Employees help with the repeatable work. Standin stays accountable for the result.
Built by an operator,
not a software reseller.
Brennen Mahaffey is the founder of Standin. He started the company to make AI useful for established businesses through managed Digital Employees and practical employee training. He leads the service design, workshop curriculum, and client operating model.
The company is intentionally small. That is not a branding trick. It means the same operator who scopes the work also stays close to the build, the workshop, and the ongoing client experience.
As Standin grows, Digital Employees will keep doing more of the operational work. That is the model. The promise to clients is not that everything is done manually. The promise is that the work is managed, reviewed, and owned by Standin.
The best AI service is not magic. It is a useful workflow, a clear approval line, and someone accountable when it needs to change.
Founder, Standin. Based in South Carolina, US, working with clients across the United States.
